Dark Sentiments Season 13 — Day 14: The Art of Witchcraft
Posted By Randy on October 14, 2022
I have written here in seasons past of the mystical magick manifest in Womanhood, from assorted angles and shades. It takes little effort to discern that much of what afflicts modernity both misses these lessons and has always been thus, so not unlike the defining character of Canada writ large upon the ages, nothing is ever fucking settled.
As an illustrative reading list, I would submit these, Goode Reader …

Tonight’s Dark Sentiment is The Art of Witchcraft – Secret Knowledge, first broadcast on 29 August 2013 by BBC Scotland —
“Artist Lachlan Goudie presents a highly personal documentary, inspired by his father, in which he investigates why witches have cast such a powerful spell over generations of artists.”
The “Art” of Witchcraft, most literally.
Never really succumbed to witches and the sort preferring, if you will, Malo magister esse maleficarum et canina
I did go through a period some time ago in my WTF youth with Tuscan magic, Crowley and all the lunacy attendant. but never actual witches except perhaps Lilith (one of my favorites) who I think actually seduced the serpent and the church in its growing paranoia about losing control turned it around to show that the serpent seduced Eve.
Well done videos and art examples.Never knew about Goudie but now I do. Thanks for this one
Well you know, there is much to be preferred in your preference!
I must hear more of this foray of yours into Tuscan magic. Whatever else it may encompass, I hear that realm has its own corner on the age old art of wart charming.
