Back on Day 8 we had Pig. Today, Oh Sheep!, a six-and-a-half minute dark comedy in the form of an animated short film from the ever fruitful Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH., brought to my attention by the Filmbilder & Friends YouTube channel.
Unlike Pig, this one is all about unintended consequences until the anthropomorphizing kicks in for real and the bloodletting starts. After that it’s about hate born of superficial differences taking me straight back to that Star Trek episode. You know the one …

While it suits many narratives to ride this sheep, I would posit that this is more a form of convenient shorthand than a Great Truth, but more on that another night.
