Autumn Delights
By LFM
A timeless Autumn pleasure is a simple pile of leaves,
To toss and roll and jump in, filling chilly sweatered eves.
With nothing but a rake or two, construction is a cinch,
The higher heap the better, made more joyful by the inch.
A heap of leaves is pleasure pure to brighten and beguile,
Until some little bastard hides fresh dog turds in the pile.
