Announcement of a Small Fierce Mammal
Posted By Randy on February 8, 2013
Tomorrow marks the anniversary of an event for which I will be forever thankful to the Universe – the birth of my Beloved Diana, half a world away in Poland. Nearly a year ago, I commemorated her birthday with a poem. One of many she’s inspired, and will come to inspire.
Yet this year of Life with her is even more inspiring, for let this stand as Official Notice, and so be it known to all ye here, that we Large Fierce Mammals are with Child!
Back on 24 September 2010 I published an article here with the title Announcement of My Conception had Its Own Theme Song. Today we’re laying claim to that wonderful tune, with the most heartfelt dedication to the three of us. We’d be honoured if you’d sing along. Take it away Engelbert.
Let me be the first to offer my most heartfelt (yes, I do have one of those) congratulations to you and Mrs LFM. So happy to hear the news and wish you both the best.
Thank you Martin. I know you have one of those, but your secret has always been, and will forever be, safe with me. Of course, and as it should be, Mrs. LFM knows what I know, and so whatever you have ever told me in confidence is likewise locked safely in her mind as well. Oh … and my memoirs down in the crypt.
Congrats, to the LFM's. I look forward to seeing your new addition. I think y'all will make great parents & teachers!
