Dark Sentiments Season 10 — Day 14: The Last Bottle of Whiskey on Earth

Tonight’s Dark Sentiment takes is on another detour down a dusty side road of post Apocalyptic film making.
We Sit, We Drink, No Guns is a 2015 short film that has done rather well for itself winning awards, not surprisingly a slew of “best of’s” from Scotland where, understandably, the last dram ever can be expected to strike a chord.
When I read the film’s description as depicting, “… a man barely hanging on to his humanity when he stumbles upon the last bottle of whiskey on earth,” my first thought was, how would he know? After all, the world is a big place.
Maybe it’s just HIS last bottle on earth.
And what would the Whiskey Cowboy think about such shenanigans?
Never mind all that. Do your best to ferret out the last of something to wash this down, and you be the judge.
I love post-apocalyptics. And of course, a bottle of Macallans would certainly open up fond remembrances of a carnival of lost sanity.
