Tonight we’re going to gather around the fire and consider something that will tax the mental equipage of the average citizen, and we’re going to do this with the help of our guest speaker, the incomparable Lloyd, prolifically publishing under the nom de guerre of Lindybeige. I happen to have a small parcel of Friends who have actually been in situations that called for the ending of another human life, and I hold every hope that at least some of them will provide their own observations after viewing this, even if only very generally, and if necessary, privately.
