The Cowboy Way

The first thing on in morning,
And the last thing off at night.
A Cowboy’s hat is always there,
Be prospects dark or bright.
He may forget his britches,
But never so his horse.
And a Cowboy’s faithful to the job,
As is his hat of course.
I look at the picture and remember a lyric from Tom Petty – from learning to fly – coming DOWN is the hardest thing.
I see what you mean. It made me notice that the rider seems to be going faster than his mount.
