A Long Winter’s Night – All’s Well That Ends Well
Posted By Randy on December 31, 2012
The dreaded year 2012 ends tonight, and tomorrow begins 2013 with the traditional and annually recurring 90 day festival of getting cheques in the mail that were stale dated a year at the very moment they were written. Traditions are a wonderful thing.
To all of you who have spent time with us here, and most particularly to those who have taken the time to comment on what you’ve read and seen, your efforts help keep this place alive. To those we count as Esteemed Friends, know that you are treasured, and may the coffins that carry each of you hence be crafted from the wood of a two hundred year old Oak tree that I promise to plant in the Spring.
To all who read these words, Mrs. LFM and I hereby send out our most sincere best wishes to you and yours for good health, happiness, and prosperity in what promises to be another year to test the soul. I’ll end with the same song I used a year ago – a shaggy mopped expression from Canada of a sentiment it’s hard to argue with – Let the Good Guys Win. Happy New Year.
