This is a fictional Golden Mountain Dog
Solutions repaint of the freeware Grumman G21A Goose for FS2004 ACOF by Lynn and
Bill Lyons. To end up with the machine that I know and love requires prior
installation of the files described in my blog article of 29 November 2009
titled "A Host of Furious Fancies - Chapter the Fourth". The blog article
refered to here can be found in the "Flight Simulator" category on my personal
website at http://randy.whynacht.ca, and an html version of the article is also
included with this ReadMe.
INSTALLATION:
STEP 1:
Download and install the files described in my blog article.
STEP 2:
Install or modify each as described in the aforesaid article.
Step 3:
Copy/paste the texture folder "texture.GMDS" that you downloaded with this
ReadMe into the "G21" folder that was created in your FS9 "aircraft" folder when
you installed the airplane.
STEP 4:
Open the aircraft.cfg file installed in the the "G21" folder and copy/paste the
following text at the end of the variants list. Change the "N" in "fltsim.N" to
the next sequential number.
[fltsim.N]

STEP 5:
Check that the following text appears at the end of the variants list:
[General]
atc_type=Grumman
atc_model=G21
editable=1
performance=See Kneeboard Reference
If it doesn't, then copy/paste the text from here and put it there. This will
ensure that ATC refers to your airplane as a "Grumman Goose" and not simply as
"Experimental".
STEP 6:
Go and fly!
