    Hi Randy,

I find this a somewhat invigorating analyses of true love and an unparalleled ( to me) read as a “dark sentiment”. Sort of breaks the paradigm of our standard philosophies. You have gone beyond this and gotten into the very root. I like. Thanks, Leroy.

Thank you for your loyal following of my blog Leroy. I always enjoy your comments. By the way, and I somehow think I don’t need to say this, if you ever feel I missed the mark, don’t let that stay your hand. Comment anyway!

Thanks, Randy ! There are so very few people today, educated or not ( such as myself) who have such a command of the english language as yourself. That in itself, is gratifying. One of the greatest storytellers (in my opinion) and one that I thoroughly enjoy is Peter Ustinov. On YouTube, you can enjoy, as the interviews, parts 1 through 6. He is primarily noted as a gifted mimic. Perhaps not your cup of tea, but maybe for a good laugh. Thanks again, LeRoy.

Leroy, I happen to be a huge fan of Peter Ustinov. A big man should have huge fans. A man has to believe in something, and I believe I’m going to check out your recommendation right now!

  5. […] On Day 28 of last year’s series I explored True Love as a Dark Sentiment. Today, somewhat in that vein but more than a little laced with melancholy, I’m going to expose you to a haunting tale titled Peter Kagan and the Wind written by the multi-talented Gordon Bok, and that only first came to my attention a couple years ago thanks to our esteemed friend Valentina. 6. […] “There’s a saying – if I have to explain it to you, you wouldn’t understand. True Love will forever remain a dark sentiment because most prefer to delude themselves into believing it only exists in fairy tales and fantasy.” ~ Dark Sentiments 2010 – Day 28 […]

  7. You hit the mark alright, my friend. Spot on…dark and deep, poignant, and lovely…

Thank you Caroline. Not everyone gets the dark and deep Truth of True Love, but I can usually predict those who will. Your comment reaffirms my faith in that ability.
